So you just-so-happened to start talking to someone new right as the most romantic holiday of the year approaches…how do you show him you care on the special day without going insanely over the top?
Here are a few ideas to get you started!
1. Bake him some cookies
They say that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach- and they’re right. Think chocolate chip!!
2. Buy him a small candle
Surprisingly enough, boys really do appreciate a nice smelling room. And if you buy it for him, he’s even more likely to use it. (P.S. A candle is just as much a gift for him as it is for you!)
3. Get him his favorite candy
This is something sweet, simple and cute that shows you’re interested, but didn’t try too hard to impress him. (Plus, it doesn’t break the bank!)
4. Get him a gift card to his regular restaurant
Seriously guys, I know this theme of food is a little repetitive, but boys really only care about a few things in life- and eating is one of them!
5. Make him a playlist
Yes, this is basically “making a mixtape,” and is a little cliche, but you can make the songs anything you want them to be! It doesn’t have to be romantic or serious at all. It could just be a collection of songs that remind you of him or you want him to hear.
6. Give him a small card
Everybody loves receiving a handwritten letter addressed to them, and I’m sure your person would love one even more from you!
