3 Ideas for Designing Thanksgiving Tablescapes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

Ok Collegiettes with Thanksgiving in just a couple of days, it’s time to start thinking about the different ways to design a table.

The thanksgiving table is the first thing guests see when they walk into the house. It sends a message of gratitude and peace. The table could included pumpkins, tealights, or plaid. It all depends on the person who is designing the table. To get inspired, check out these great ideas!

1) The Nature Inspired Table

It’s amazing how the color green can transform a table. This table includes elements of greener such as green leaves, and the pop of orange from the pumpkins. This table is very trendy for the season. The table is also very easy to set up and doesn’t take that much time.

2) Mix and Match Inspired Table

This table can be a little harder to achieve because it could be harder to find patterns that look somewhat good together. The materials that you would need for this setup includes checked cloths, and pumpkins of different patterns. This setup can be as creative as you like it. There are no rules to this setup, you can be as playful as possible.

3) The Blue Thanksgiving Table

Finally this one is my favorite because blue is my favorite color. In this table, I love how they included a color that is not associated with Thanksgiving.  However, I really think that it plays well with Thanksgiving. For this table, the materials you would need are plates that include the color blue and pumpkins in any shade of white.

Have fun decorating your tables for Thanksgiving, Collegiettes. Always remember that there are no rules for decorating a table for Thanksgiving, it’s all up to the person. Don’t Forget to save room for dessert!
