We know the first thing someone says when they see a girl with a group of guys; “She sleeps around.” This is the most stereotypical statement said by most people.
Having a good group of girl friends is obviously amazing, however, there’s something so unique about a purely platonic friendship with a guy. Even though you get mistaken for their girlfriend every now and then, and there are a countless amount of TMI moments, you wouldn’t trade your guy friends for the world. Here’s why guys make better friends than girls:
- They are non-judgmental.
Most guys do not care about how you look, what you’re eating, or if you are wearing make up or not. Guy friends love to joke around and have a good time with you no matter what.
2. They will give you the truth.
No matter how mad you are at them or what the situation could be, most good guy friends will be completely honest and tell you how it is. They do not beat around the bush or tell a lie to make you feel better.
3. They can give good advice (especially about guys).
Guys not only will tell you how it is but tell you what is best for you. They do not want you to get hurt and always want to look out for you.
4. There is no drama.
Whether you are a drama queen or not, your guy friends will not be ones to stir the pot. They could honestly care less about drama and are notorious for getting mad and staying mad for not very long.
5. They are protective.
Imagine having your own group of body guards at your service at all times. No matter what the situation, these guys will always have your back.
6. They care, but not too much.
You have that one girl friend that always voices her opinion regardless if anyone asked or not. Guys do not do that, they will tell you what they think only when asked.
7. They are trustworthy.
Trying to get a girl friend to keep a secret is rarely possible. Girls love this idea of starting conversations with, “Well did you hear…” With guys, this is highly unlikely. They have no interest in spreading gossip. With that being said, they make the best secret-keepers. You can tell them anything in the world and rest assured that it won’t come back to you.
8. They love to have a good time, all the time.
Guys just want to hang out, have fun, kick-back and relax. Don’t sweat the drama and tears. Take every moment in with these guys and have fun.
9. They are helping hands.
We all know girls are creative but sometimes we need that extra hand or muscle for certain projects.
10. They follow bro-code like the Bible.
They are not going to mess around with an ex or friends of yours. They stick by and religiously follow bro-code.
