10 of the Best Covered Songs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

I often find myself growing weary of the songs that have been on repeat for months. Or there are always the songs that you roll your eyes at because they seem to be echoing across every radio station. Behold, I have a solution to this problem. Covers, also known as God’s gift to us. I am thankful for the creative souls that rekindle the flame for the melodies that I once referred to as “my favorite”. Below is a list of my most treasured renditions of the songs that are constantly bouncing off the walls of my brain at the most inconvenient times. Hopefully, this will aid in taking the edge off of your anger next time you hear “Call Me Maybe” pumping through your headphones as you stroll through campus.
