Matt Bane ’14

Meet Matt.  This cutie is getting ready for post-grad life come December, but until then he’s enjoying the last of his time at Winona State.  Whether he’s jammin’ with his roommates, cooking up some of his Mom’s famous chili, or enjoying a few Busch Latte’s, he is always down to have a good time.

HC (Her Campus): Describe yourself in three words:MB (Matt Bane): Goofy, fun and loyal

HC: What activities are you involved in at Winona?MB:  I’ve played intramural football and softball for the past three years.

HC: Who is your role model and why?MB: My role model would probably be my dad.  He has been very successful in life and has always been there for my family and me.  If there were one person I would aspire to be like, it would be him.

HC: What is your proudest moment?MB: When my brother asked me to be the best man of his wedding.  I was able to be there for him on his special day and I gave a kicka** best man speech!

HC: Describe your ideal first date:MB: I wouldn’t want to it to be like a typical dinner and a movie date.  Instead maybe catch a Twins game and grab some drinks after.

HC: Words to live by:MB: The Golden Rule- treat others how you would treat yourself.

HC:  What is your best physical trait?MB: My butt and if you want me twerk, I got you.

HC: What traits do find most attractive in a significant other?MB: Someone who has a fun, outgoing personality, a great sense of humor and is ambitious.

HC: Looking back, what is one thing you would tell your freshman self?MB: Get your a** to the library.

HC: What’s one thing on your Winona bucket list?MB: Climb Sugar Loaf one more time before I graduate.

HC: Post grad plans?MB: I’m hoping to have a career in something that I enjoy, either in Dallas or stay in the cities near home.

HC: Ultimate dream job?MB: Either working in sales for a large pharmaceutical company or a semi-conductor firm.

HC: How does it feel to be a campus cutie?MB: I feel honored to be a campus cutie.  And I’m glad to show support for my friends at Her Campus.
