Winona State homecoming proves time after time to be the celebration of the year. A longstanding and cherished tradition will take place this weekend, but before the fun begins, we wanted to bring back your homecoming classics.

Anna Schmitz started off her homecoming Saturday last year with her friends at the parade. Despite the creepy clown, the parade is a great way to kick off your Saturday! Purple beads, a live buffalo walking down Huff Street, and Zaza’s wings. Need I say more?

Homecoming is known to be a day filled with purple pride! Rachel Potter rocked her purple shades and Haley Anderson was reppin’ her WSU sweatshirt!

These three ladies blinged out their hats to show off their Winona State colors! That’s a lot of jewels and hot glue…

These warrior women put their creativity to the test with these adorably decorated bottles!

This warrior lost the odds game to get slammed through a table. At least he still has his drink in hand! Better luck this year Ben Fischer.

The fall leaves proved to be a homecoming classic! Elizabeth Tessmann and friends displayed their homecoming spirit!

Courtney Jones and her friends posed for this adorable homecoming photo!

Erika Krings hydrated in a pile of leaves while Brooke Kubicek buried under them to take a cat nap.

Pedro Lander said goodbye to his homecoming king crown and handed it over to this year’s king.

And finally, Samantha McConnell found a cooler large enough for the homecoming need. AKA, the bathtub.
