A new school year has begun, which means balancing school with clubs, friends, family and so many other things; this can include even organizing your dorm room or house- which can end up making us feel disorganized and frustrated. School can test us our organization skills, so here are some ways to stay organized as well as keep it pretty and functional.

Never know the date because the only calendar you have in hidden somewhere in your phone? Instead of your traditional calendar with plain white background on the bottom half, upgrade it with a colorful, reusable one using a picture frame and paintstrips.

When you are trying to charge your phone or computer, are all your cords tangled together, thus making it practically impossible to actually charge your devices? Try organizing your cords using a shoebox, a few pieces of scrapbook paper, a box cutter or a scissors and a power strip. This DIY shoebox charging station will be the life savior you’ve been looking for!
