Spring is finally here and that means so are the new spring trends. With every season in the new year comes many new and different styles, and according to my Pinterest, the spring 2017 trends seem to be about shirts, shoes, and pinstripes, so naturally that is what this article is about. Sit back, relax, and find out about this spring’s top trends.
Choker Necklaces
I see these necklaces everywhere, and I guess they’re a thing again. Choker necklaces were very popular back in the 70s and 90s, and now they’re back. I personally would never wear a necklace like this because when it comes to jewelry I am very minimal, but I’m not going to lie . . . some are pretty cute. These necklaces are literally sold in any clothing store from Target to Franchesca’s, but if you don’t want to spend money you can make your own from a shoelace (seriously . . . it’s been done).
Off-the-Shoulder Shirts
When I searched “Spring Trends” on Pinterest, these filled my feed. I first noticed off-the-shoulder shirts this past summer as they were beginning to become a trend, and now that it’s spring I am positive we will be seeing these everywhere! Not only are off-the-shoulder shirts super cute, but they go with anything! Wear an off-the-shoulder-shirt with some cute shorts and sandals or skinny jeans and heels and you’re good to go.
Jean Skirts
Jean skirts seem to be more popular than ever, and I can see why! Jean skirts, or rather “denim skirts,” first made their appearance in the 1970s and after that they slowly started fading away, but now they’re back in full force! These trendy skirts come in any style and color and are perfect for any occasion, from a casual day with some friends to a night on the town!
Chunky Heels
Chunky heels are probably one of my favorite trends this year. Yes, some are quite ugly, but probably like 95 percent of these types of shoes are super cute! There aren’t only heels either; oh no, there are also platforms, boots, ankle boots, and like I said above, normal heels. There is a ton of variety with these shoes, so if you’re not a fan of one type, try another!
