With a new school year comes a new set of officers. There are some familiar faces returning, but also some new ones. Without further ado, meet your 2017-2018 Winona State Her Campus Officers!
Campus Correspondent: Kasey Lanenberg
Kasey was previously on the board as Treasurer, but this next year she will have a different position. A Mass Communications Transmedia major with a Marketing minor, Kasey loves whales and has a weakness for cheesecake. We’re excited to have her as one of the Campus Correspondents!
Campus Correspondent: Emily Sheptoski
Emily is new to the officer board this year. She will also be taking on the role of Campus Correspondent along with Kasey. Emily is an Advertising major with an Art History minor who loves to cook and travel. She also loves going to concerts and Broadway shows. She hopes to one day visit all 50 states and return to Europe in the next five years. Her appreciation of adventure will be a good characteristic to have on the HC Winona team!
Treasurer: Alex Carter
Alex is sticking around on the officer board, but this time she’s trying out a different position. She is a Public Relations major and likes to do adventurous things like bungee-jump and skydive in New Zealand. Her dream job is to be a media liaison for the FBI and she one day hopes to live on the West or East coast.
Editor-in-Chief: Cassie Douglas
Cassie is remaining on the board as editor-in-chief, which is a good position to have as she is an English: Writing Emphasis major with Applied & Professional Writing & Psychology minors. Spend just a few minutes with her and you’ll discover that she is obsessed with animals, Disney, and Bernie Sanders.
Social Media Director: Linsey Taylor
Linsey is also remaining on the board and keeping the same position she had last year. She is a Therapeutic Recreation major which is fitting since she loves to go on hikes with her brother. In addition to hiking, Linsey also loves coffee, Netflix, and hanging out with family and friends. We’re excited to see her continued hard work on the Her Campus Winona social media accounts!
Events Coordinator: Macy Mancini
Macy is excited to be a new officer on the Her Campus Winona team. She will be taking on the role of Events Coordinator! She is a Recreation Tourism major and loves to do outdoor things such as swimming with over 400 wild dolphins and staying at her cabin with friends and family. She also loves boxed wine and considers herself to be a nacho enthusiast.
This next year is sure to be a good one for Her Campus Winona, and we can’t wait to show you what we come up with!
