To conquer the east coast cold, a down jacket is a girl’s best friend. And thanks to designers such as Balenciaga and Stella McCartney, this practical clothing item is now on trend! Affectionately known as a puffer jacket, this item is an essential for me, someone who made the move from the west coast to the east coast and had never experienced below freezing temperatures. Much to the happiness of college students everywhere, now we can stay warm while being trendy. This piece of outerwear is extremely versatile and looks great on days you’re just going to class, going out, working out, and even on the days when you can’t be bothered to wear anything other than sweatpants! And the best part is, chances are you already have one in your closet! Below are some photos and links for you to take on this trend (and the cold) this upcoming winter!
