All hair is different and finding the right hair products that suit your unique, curly hair can be a hassle. I have selected my favorite hair products that I frequently use in my own hair to share with you. Personally, I have some trouble gauging my curl pattern, but I would say that it is close to 4a.

  1. SheaMoisture’s Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque

Up first is SheaMoisture’s Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque. I discovered this hair mask while scrolling through target’s natural hair care selection this summer. The name of the product, alone, made me want to purchase it without evening looking at the reviews. I really love this hair mask. It is  thick and has a very nice smell. Also, it made my hair super soft and easier to manage. My hair felt great! I would definitely buy this product again. Price at Target: $9.

Note: Since the product itself is very thick and heavy it probably will not be great for fine hair.

  1. Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai

Camille Rose Naturals’ twisting butter is divine! It is moisturizing and it leaves my curls feeling healthy and strong. It defines my curls very well and it smells delicious! This is one of my favorite twisting butters for twist outs and braid outs, and I highly recommend it. The only downside to this styling butter is the price – a whopping $16. I tend to stock up on this product when it’s on sale.

  1. Alikay Naturals Honey and Sage Deep Conditioner

Curly hair needs deep conditioners like this one. It brings moisture and softness back to dry, limp hair. It contains ingredients such as babassu and sage to help nourish the hair. I find this conditioner to be super moisturizing and hydrating. It also makes it much easier for me to detangle my hair, which is a plus. On target, it is sold for around $13.

  1. Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Intensely Smooth Leave-In Conditioning Cream

Garnier’s leave-in cream leaves my hair feeling smooth and frizz-free. Furthermore, it is CHEAP – usually around $3 to $4.  When I can’t afford to dish out $12+ on hair products, I buy this. It does the job well and it makes my hair shiny and smooth. My curls get nice definition from this product. Although it does contain silicones, which isn’t great for the hair, this product does not dry out my hair.

  1. Camille Rose’s Curl Love Moisture Milk

This moisture milk is amazing! It leaves my hair soft and moisturized. It has a slightly thick consistency that smoothes easily over my hair. It makes my hair easier to manage and it also has a light dessert smell that I really enjoy. It consists of wonderful ingredients such as rice milk and macadamia seed oil that fortifies hair. It sells for $14 at target.
