It’s here. You’ve made it, Thanksgiving break, and you’re ready to welcome the countdown to Christmas vacation with the biggest bro hug you’ve ever given. But first, lets take a look at what arriving home for turkey day has in store for you.

That feeling when you drive by your old high school, striking it with that unforgiving side eye and smirk that you’ve been waiting to pull ever since you left home.

When you open the front door and find your dog flipping out like she hasn’t seen you in 5 years.

Showering without putting on your shower flip flops while singing your heart out.

Reuniting with your best friends from high school and sharing your favorite stories from the past 3 months.

Sitting down at the dinner table promising yourself you won’t over eat like last year…but doing it anyway.

And last but not least, realizing that you missed your family more than you thought and cherishing every minute you get to spend with them until you have to go back to college.
