Laurier’s very own women’s flag football league put on by the Letterman Club. This year the Letterman Club has teamed up with Alpha Omega Sorority, with all proceeds of the tournament going towards Anselma House, a local KW women’s crisis shelter. Her Campus Laurier had a chance to sit down with the first female president of the Letterman Club Tamika Grant-Esco. The first tournament was held Friday January 22nd and Saturday January 23rd at University Stadium and was a huge success. Didn’t get a chance to make it out??? Not to worry! WLU PowderPuff will be holding the Laurier Invitational OUA Tournament February 4-6th 2016 at University Stadium with 20 teams playing, follwed by an after party at Maxwells Concert Hall. The tournament will include 8 Laurier teams along with teams from 12 other universities!
