Which Disney Character are you Based on your Zodiac Sign?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wilfrid Laurier chapter.

Lately, I have seen a lot of articles similar to this one circulating online. I decided to showcase my research for this article with entirely female-based answers. This isn’t because I think men suck (although some men do), instead it’s like Cher once said, “I think men are the coolest, but you don’t really need them to live.” In honour of women everywhere, and with March being Women’s History Month, here is some female power in the form of some light humor and entertainment!

(Disclaimer: I hope you can relate to my choices but try not to take them too seriously. I am certainly not an expert in astrology.)

Aries: Alex Russo

As an Aries woman, you’re known to be confident, fiery, daring and independent. Among your many qualities, you are also very self-reliant and therefore, are often an inspiration to the other women in your life. Often highly motivated, ambitious and at times a tad stubborn, you won’t take no for an answer, at least not for very long. Who better embodies these characteristics than Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place? Alex is known to be the bold one of her siblings and hardly takes no for an answer (even when it’s probably in her best interest to do so). Always seen taking chances but rarely seen asking for help, Alex is a woman who knows what she wants, sound familiar to you Aries?

Taurus: Raven Baxter

As a Taurus, you are the stable and reliable friend of your group. People born under this sign are practical and determined, but also materialistic at times. Given your attraction to the finer things in life, who better to represent you than Raven Baxter herself? Raven, from That’s So Raven, is a fashion enthusiast and similar to you, she loves surrounding herself with the beauty offered by the material world. Both you and Raven can also be incredibly stubborn at times. You often believe that your thoughts are without a doubt the right ones, making you difficult to reason with sometimes. In the end, no one comes before your friends and family and you will always be extremely loyal to them.

Gemini: Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana

Did you expect anyone other than Miley Stewart from Hannah Montana? As a Gemini, you have an interesting personality. You are curious about the ways of the world but also enjoy staying in your comfort zone. This creates a strange contrast between wanting to spend time with your friends and wanting to hunt down new things to do. Aside from the obvious double life that Miley lives, you are connected in other ways too. You are both communicative and have a desire to experience everything the world is willing to offer you. Time spent with a Gemini will never be boring, and this makes you an enjoyable person to be around. Be careful though Gemini, your dichotomous personality may get you in trouble now and again, just like it did for Miley.

Cancer: Lily Truscott

Cancer, you are known to be caring, intuitive, protective and above all, you’re loyal to the people you love. You make sure that the people you want in your life stay there by always being there for them. You never falter to be there for these people and remain loyal and caring through all the ups and downs of life. All signs point to Lily Truscott from Hannah Montana. Lily is Miley Stewart’s best friend and is all about loyalty. She keeps Miley’s secret for years, even though it would have been easy to leak them to others during fights they had. Lily stays loyal and protective of Miley throughout the show. Ringing any bells Cancer girls?

Leo: London Tipton

Leos, you have a warm, passionate and dynamic personality. You likely find yourself getting caught up in opportunities where you can let your charismatic personality shine. Much like London Tipton from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, you like to be able to showcase who you are. London has an extremely dynamic and bubbly personality much like a Leo. She loves to show off her charming personality to others and wants to dominate everything she sets her eyes upon. If she wants something, she makes sure she gets it. As a Leo, you have the same go-getter attitude. If you set your heart on something, you’ll make sure you get it.

Virgo: Rocky Blue

You are known for being logical, practical and systematic when approaching life. You like to strive for perfection and often won’t accept anything less. However, you aren’t afraid to work hard and improve your skills to achieve the perfection you desire. You are certainly no stranger to hard work and consistent practice. Rocky Blue from Disney’s Shake It Up was certainly no stranger to hard work and practice. She worked hard on her dance routines and her schoolwork; she was a straight-A student. Watch that you aren’t as timid as Rocky could be on the show, this can be a Virgo’s weakness. Don’t let your timidity cloud your potential for opportunities.

Libra: Kim Possible

As a Libra, you are known to be charming and well-balanced in life. You thrive on making your life and surroundings orderly, and who better to represent you than Kim Possible. Cheerleader by day and a crime-fighting teen by night, Kim is one for justice and order. Libras, like Kim, value a balance in their lives and will often try to make peace between those around them. Not one for conflict, you often find that you put the needs of others before your own. Kim is a perfectionist in her academics and takes her job saving people very seriously. However, she also tries to balance these activities with seeing her friends and family, making sure they know that she is still there for them. Sound familiar?

Scorpio: Shego

Scorpios are known for being deeply emotional people and are intense in everything that they do; this is both a blessing and a curse for you. Apart from being extremely emotional, Scorpios are often natural-born leaders. Shego, from the show Kim Possible, feels emotions deeply and is often impatient and easily angered, especially when she feels that someone is being obnoxious. Despite a Scorpio’s temper and sometimes fearsome persona, they still have a strong moral compass they live by. However, as a Scorpio, you can stray from your typical rational and sane demeanour to something impulsive and hot-tempered rather quickly. Just like Shego, Scorpios feel all emotions very deeply. Scorpios arguably feel deceit most noticeably since honesty is the most valuable trait to them. This can make it easy for you to get a little too caught up in your emotions.

Sagittarius: Cece Jones

Sagittarius women are optimistic, progressive and adventurous. It’s hard to keep you contained or controlled and good luck to anyone who tries to boss you around. Freedom is like catnip to you and if there is one thing you hate, it is being told what to do. If I didn’t know any better, I would say you are Cece Jones from Shake It Up. Cece is no stranger to taking chances, being adventurous and tends to walk to the beat of her own drum. She does not shy away from a challenge and looks for adventure with her best friend Rocky wherever she can find it. Never failing to try and have an optimistic outlook on life and remaining supportive of her BFF at all times, she is the kind of friend people want around. Does this sound like anyone you know?

Capricorn: Maddie Fitzpatrick

Capricorn ladies, you are the ultimate worker bee. You’re ambitious, practical, organized and very goal-oriented in life. You don’t mind having to work hard for what you want and are even willing to give up quite a lot to achieve a certain goal. There is no one more hardworking than Maddie from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Maddie may not have the most glamourous life, but she is a hard and diligent worker at the Tipton hotel. She may not love her job, but she remains dedicated to working at the candy counter so that she can bring home money to help her family pay the bills around the house. Maddie embodies the term worker bee, just like all my Capricorn ladies.

Aquarius: Harper Finkle

You Aquariuses are known to be a rebel at heart in one way or another. You are a free spirit and rather eccentric in life. Often identified by your eccentric fashion choices, sometimes unusual hobbies and your tendency not to conform to norms, no one better embodies an Aquarius woman than Harper Finkle from The Wizards of Waverly Place. Harper is seen in a new outfit every episode that could only be described as offbeat. Harper isn’t afraid to make a statement and sticks to what she enjoys regardless of outside opinions, fitting perfectly into the persona of an Aquarius. Aside from her eccentric fashion choices, Harper is also a loyal friend to Alex. She never fails to stay loyal and is always there for her friends, just like you.

Pisces: Lizzie McGuire

Last but not least we have the Pisces sign. You are known for being one of the most empathetic signs, and you will do just about anything to make sure that your friends and family are happy. You also have a vivid imagination and tend to sway into the creative side of life, just like the one and only Lizzie McGuire. Lizzie is a sweet girl, always placing the needs of her friends above her own. She considers the thoughts and feelings of everyone else constantly, even if that person is her frenemy, Kate. As a Pisces, you are one the best people to go to with a problem. Among your many strengths, you are great at listening to the problems of your friends and you always try to offer advice you have.

These are just my personal opinions, but I like to think that they are somewhat accurate. I hope you enjoyed reading this and got a good laugh from whoever I matched you with!
