The weather is getting colder and midterm season is almost over, which makes for the perfect time to start binge-watching a new show or have a movie marathon with your roomies! The only problem is sometimes you run out of options and you can only re-watch the entire Grey’s Anatomy series so many times. Here is a list of movies and TV shows that we are still waiting for Netflix to add:
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2Â
What originally inspired this article has now become an honourable mention since Netflix has just recently announced that Twilight will be leaving the site in November. The teen angst and nostalgia are real, but I don’t think we will be getting closure anytime soon.Â
Harry PotterÂ
Seriously, what are they thinking? I have never met anyone who didn’t like Harry Potter and if you’re not into reading, then this is one movie adaptation that won’t disappoint – even my grandparents love Harry Potter! Give the people what they want.Â
American Horror StoryÂ
For the horror enthusiast, this is a must. It scares me to death every single time, but for some reason, I keep watching season after season. Ryan Murphy is a genius and AHS definitely deserves a spot on this list.Â
Parenthood
If you are currently binging This is Us, then you will love its predecessor, Parenthood. It is also an NBC family drama and the Braverman’s give the Pearson’s a run for their money, just saying.Â
Uptown GirlsÂ
Netflix seems to have all of the early 2000’s classics, from 13 Going on 30, to Mean Girls, but one movie that is missing is this Britany Murphy gem. Dakota Fanning also gives a great performance, serving a lot of sass for an eight-year-old. We’d really appreciate Legally Blonde and The Princess Diaries while you’re at it, thanks!Â
Sex and the CityÂ
We’ve already got the movies, but what we need is the backstory. Grab a drink and grab your girls because this is the perfect feel-good series to watch with the most important ladies in your life. It will both make you laugh and make you cry. Plus, there are so many gorgeous designer shoes. What’s not to love?Â
The Real HousewivesÂ
Netflix is seriously lacking in the reality show department and it doesn’t get any more real than these housewives. This franchise has a city for everyone, and whether you’re an NY or OC girl, their drama will be a pleasant distraction from school.Â
If you’re not going to complete the series, (you already have RuPaul’s Drag Race and Glee just to name a few) then hurry up already, Netflix, because we need these now!Â
