Every year for Valentine’s Day, my family makes the most delicious cookies. I’m not biased because I make them, they’re just so good! Many people have tried to get the recipe from us, but we’ve been sworn to secrecy. This recipe goes back generations, and we’re never allowed to share it; we even refuse to tell some of our family. So, unfortunately, I won’t be giving away this special recipe today. However, there are tons of delicious recipes listed below that you should definitely try out this Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re single or taken, these sweets will definitely put you in the holiday mood; if not, well, at least you’ve got some yummy treats to eat!

Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies

I love cheesecake and I love brownies, so personally, this sounds like a match made in heaven! They’re also relatively easy to make, so even if you feel like you lack some skills in the kitchen, you’ll be able to make these no problem! They’re perfect to share with a loved one or even just to eat the whole pan yourself!

Fudgy Brownies

Not everyone’s a fan of red velvet, which is understandable, so here’s my favourite plain, good old-fashioned brownie recipe. If you want to add a little Valentine’s Day flair, use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to turn them into little hearts! Once again, this recipe is super simple and easy to follow! You could easily still make the same delicious brownies with a box mix from the store if you want to save yourself some time and energy!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Is it even Valentine’s Day if you don’t have chocolate covered strawberries? I know I said that the last two recipes are easy to make (which they are), but these are so simple! All you need is strawberries and the chocolate of your choice! You could even add some fun sprinkles or a chocolate drizzle if you want. These are so simple and so yummy, and they make such a fancy dessert!

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cupcakes

While you’re making your chocolate covered strawberries, you might as well make some extras to put on top of these delicious cupcakes! Once again, if you don’t feel like making cupcakes from scratch, feel free to pick up a box mix from the store! But these chocolate cupcakes are just so good! If you love chocolate, this recipe is definitely for you!

Heart Cookies

Who doesn’t love cookies? Or more specifically, who doesn’t love sugar cookies? Now, you don’t have to make them into hearts, you can do whatever shape you want! But these cookies with the cream cheese icing on top are amazing! They’re also so fun to decorate; you can keep them simple or use multiple colours of icing and sprinkles! No matter how you make them, they’ll be delicious!

Heavenly Filled Strawberries

This is another super simple, but super delicious recipe! All you have to do is slice open the strawberries and fill them with this yummy cream cheese filling. I feel like they’d even be good with just some whipped cream inside! These are so quick and easy and yet they’re still so good!

Double Chocolate Martini

Maybe desserts aren’t really your thing and you’re more into alcohol (if you’re legal age of course), this recipe is for you! It combines chocolate with alcohol and that essentially describes Valentine’s Day. I personally know that these martinis are great! Just make sure that you drink legally and responsibly!

With Valentine’s Day approaching, these sweets are guaranteed to help you get through the day. I definitely know that I’ll spend the days before Valentine’s Day in the kitchen making these tasty treats! Whether you choose to share these sweets with others or eat them yourself while watching a good rom-com, these recipes guarantee delicious results!
