April Fool’s Day is awesome, but everyone has a horror story about a prank gone wrong. If you want to pull some awesome pranks without making anyone too mad, take a look at these suggestions:
Pennies Everywhere
This one is super simple. All you have to do is hide a bunch of pennies around the victim’s house or workspace. Some should be in really obvious places, like on the desk or on the person’s pillow, but there should also be some super random spots in there too. Try hiding pennies on their food in the fridge, in their shoe, etc.: it will make them more and more confused the more pennies they find.
(Since pennies are hard to get your hands on now, you could really do this prank with any small object. I’ve heard of it being done with small plastic animals. Just be careful you don’t use anything that your victim could hurt themselves on if they accidentally step or sit on it.)
Random Photos of Nicholas Cage
All you have to do is print off a bunch of photos of Nicholas Cage — or any actor really, preferably someone your victim doesn’t like too much — and hide them around the house. You want to hide as many as possible so that every time your victim opens a drawer or walks into a new room, there is a photo waiting for them.
(Please hide some in really random places, as well as obvious ones. Try hiding one in a box of something your victim uses a lot, in one of their textbooks, etc. Places they won’t expect that will impress them with your dedication.)
Bug in the Lampshade
Using cardboard or a piece of paper, just draw and cut out the shape of a really large bug and hide it in a lampshade. When your victim turns on the light, they are going to see it and freak out, but once you reveal the truth they’ll be fine.
(Just be careful not to do this to anyone that’s really afraid of bugs, because you might give them a heart attack.)
Rearrange Furniture
For this, you will need access to your victim’s bedroom or office space. Once you’re there, you will need to move everything in their room a couple of inches to the left. They probably won’t notice right away, but as more time passes, there will be this nagging feeling that something isn’t right. You can also do this prank with a person’s desk, moving everything slightly to one side to throw them off. Odds are your victim won’t have any idea what the actual problem is until you tell them, which means this prank is perfect if you want to watch your victim struggle and never have to take credit.
