Applying to summer jobs is the literal worst. Between the stress it adds on top of your busy life and the constant competing with your peers, the last thing that you’ll probably want to think about is getting your picture taken. But a great LinkedIn picture can help you put your best face forward for employers, literally!
Laurier Photography Club, with support from the Arts’ Undergraduate Society, is running their annual headshot event right now! The first day was yesterday, but they’re running the event from 12:00-4:00 today, 6 March, as well.
There are three different stations, and you can get two edited headshots for $10. That’s a great deal if we do say so ourselves! That can run over $100 elsewhere! You can make an appointment online or you can drop in throughout the day.
The event is in the Hawk’s Nest, next to The Turret. Check in at the entrance and wait in the nice chairs that they have set up!
