I worked a lot, but had tons of fun.
What lesson have you learnt from Her Campus WLU?
Put in 100% and be yourself. I find I am more satisfied with the articles that I put out that really express my personality. Typically, they get better reviews as well. Just be you and do your best.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
I can’t narrow it down to one person. I look up to a lot of people for a lot of different reasons.
What town/city/country do you wish to live your life in?
Honestly, I don’t really have anything figured out at all. Ideally, I’d live somewhere on the water; I think the East or West coasts of Canada would be fantastic.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I can really get down to some 2008(ish) pop.
Where is your next travel location?
I’m actually currently abroad for the semester in Limerick, Ireland, and have trips booked to London and Belfast, and hopefully many more. I’d love to backpack Thailand.
Who is your favourite Kardashian?
Low key am not a Kardashian fan at all, but Khloe because she’s a meticulous organizer and her systems are just goals.
Mac or Sephora?
Mac and Sephora both overwhelm me to the max, so neither. I’m pretty basic with makeup so usually I just go to the drugstore or something.
Do you have any allergies?
There’s a chance I’m still allergic to bees (I might have grown out of it) but I’m not going to test it. Also, a bunch of random medications.
What food do you despise?
Olives, yogurt, mayo, processed cheese products.
What is your life goal?
To be able to look back on my life and be proud and happy with myself.
To date, what was the best birthday you ever had and why?
Geez that’s hard. I adore birthdays sooo much. One year I went on a cruise with my best friend before my 16th birthday, so that was pretty rad. Last year, I gave into every food craving I had had for the past month and treated myself completely, and to top it all off my friend brought me cupcakes and cookies to dance that night. I’d say last year was pretty good!
What are you most looking forward to this year?
I’m actually really excited to come back next semester and step up as a president of HC. Right now I’m super excited to be studying abroad and travelling.
What is something you’ve learnt from being abroad?
That I deserve to put way more trust into myself. You can pretty much do anything to some degree of success if you try hard enough.
Do you have any siblings?
Yeah I have a little brother who’s two years younger than I am. He’s hilarious and I think we get along pretty well! Hey Mitchy (if you’re reading).
What is your perfect guy like?
Woah Zoey, thanks. [Editors note: Zoey is the interviewer] Someone who’s up for an adventure but is also fine spending half the day drinking coffee now and then. I mean ideally he’d own a yacht too so I could spend the rest of my life travelling across the world. He also must like dogs. And me.
When you go to the movies, do you go for candy, chocolate or popcorn?
I actually despise going to the movies. I hate it. I haven’t been in years. But popcorn, it’s my go to snack.
If you could only shop at one store for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Likely American Eagle. They’ve got great basic items and their jeans are the most comfortable ever. I also live in their mid-length shorts in the summer at work (no joke I have 12 pairs of the same short in 11 colours/patterns).
What is one extreme you plan to do before you die?
I’d actually love to skydive sometime!
