Meet Kevin! He is a Goldenhawk who is passionate about sports. Always there for his friends, Kevin is one of the nicest guys around. You can find him on the rugby field coaching his fellow teammates or “partying it up” with his boys.

How are you involved on campus:
Kevin came to Wilfrid Laurier University to play on the varsity rugby team. He has acted as the Head Scout for the past four years and spends his off seasons travelling around Ontario to scout potential players to join the team. He played rugby for Laurier for the past four years, but is out this season due to an injury.
Favourite part of Laurier:
“I like the tightknit community, it’s not overwhelmingly big, which is a nice change from Toronto.”
Fun/interesting fact:
Kevin is moving to the UK next year to pursue his dream of coaching professional rugby. He will be stationed in Ireland and while he is there he will also be getting qualifications to coach soccer, which is another sport he is very passionate about.
What’s Your Dream Job:
“My dream job would be to manage Manchester United, the soccer team.”

“Tigers because they are majestic.”

“It goes by quick, enjoy it while you’re here.”
During his first year on the rugby team an upper year teammate said these words to him and now that he is in his fifth year, Kevin sees the motivation behind them. He challenges you all to appreciate what they have here at Laurier and enjoy every moment that you are a Goldenhawk.
