So Mik, would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi! I’m Mikhayla, but since we’re going to be best friends, you can just call me Mik. I’m a third year Communication Studies major and I have a minor in Women and Gender Studies, and have never said no to a fine wine or a second piece of cake. I have open ears and an open mind, so please feel free to ask for advice on ANYTHING going on in your life, including love, relationships/sexual health, mental health, school, friends, family… whatever! I’m here to help.
So how exactly does your column work?
Simply email me to submit a question. All questions are 100% anonymous so you don’t have to worry about anyone finding out your identity or teasing you for asking an embarrassing question (which are my favourite to answer!). Every week, I’ll select a few to answer!

What does it mean to you to be a Golden Hawk?
To always be kind, helpful, and appreciative. I always see everyone on campus smiling, holding doors for other people, and being so friendly. It’s wonderful to see a community be so considerate towards one another!
Describe yourself in three words.
Easygoing, honest, good sense of humor (that’s 6 words, oops, should rule breaker/bad*ss be one of them?).
Favourite place to grab a bite to eat?
On campus: Wilf’s – Spin Dip
Off campus: Ennio’s – the “Bettola” pasta dish
Home: Molisana Bakery – Chicken Parm
Basically, wherever I can get a large portion of carbohydrates and a glass of wine.

Best advice you have ever been given?
If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, then they are not a nice person. How someone treats strangers says so much about their character and who they are as a person. Be kind, always!
