Wheaton Trendsetters: Stuart Maclean ’15

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wheaton chapter.

Stuart Maclean is a freshman hailing from Louisville, Kentucky with an impeccable fashion sense and a love for photography, anthropology and concerts. One could describe Maclean as an urban gentleman, many of his outfits reflecting a classic feel with a touch of urban edge. When probed about how he gained such an eccentric style, he responded by giving a great deal of credit to his father. Much of Maclean’s closet actually consist of hand me downs from his dad who in addition to the Kentucky youth, seem to be Stuart’s greatest inspiration. Stuart happens to be an active thriftier as well as a lover of L.L.Bean and Urban Outfitters. The 6’2 southern gentleman can be found around campus with his friends or at the Lyons Den where he recently acquired a position as a barista.

Kenya is a spunky and outspoken senior at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. Born and raised in Harlem, New York City, she's obsessed with the fast-paced noisy neighborhood she calls home. On campus Kenya works at the Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning, is a resident of the Feminist perspective house and is an advocate for diversity student programing. She spent her junior year abroad in Sydney, Australia and vows to return. Kenya has an extreme love for ketchup and dreams of working in magazine publishing. She can't wait to lauch HerCampus Wheaton!
