Making plans for New Years can sometimes be more of a headache than anything else and trying to remain on a budget can difficult things further! Do not fret! Listed below are some ideas of where you can visit this New Year’s remain (somewhat) on budget and of course have a guaranteed good time!

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is like our Vegas. It’s flashy, touristy and fun. The casinos, shopping and oversized clubs are located right on the strip. Hotels are limitless, with the opportunity to stay right in the heart of all the action.

Blue Mountain

The village in Blue Mountain is a dream. If you are more the adventurous type, you’d love to go to Blue Mountain this New Year’s. The village has everything you would need! Yummy treats like Beaver Tails, ski slopes during the day, shops and bars and clubs right outside your lodging. Stays include a beautiful cabin feel, and if you are lucky enough to book a room within the main lodges, you have all access to their amenities like the outdoor heated pools!

Downtown Toronto

Not looking to go too far this year? Downtown Toronto will never let you down. However be aware that during the holidays everywhere downtown will be extremely pricey. A ticket for a New Year’s club starts from $80. Some say it isn’t worth it for the lines and large crowds, however, it is extremely close by for many and always a good time.

Montreal

MTL is known being a party city. Its main strip is lined with bars and clubs and accommodations are located steps away! The city is also beautiful to do some tourism. Quite an affordable stay.

Florida

Looking to go away somewhere this year? But are you broke like every other student? Flights for Florida actually start at $100! Find an affordable AirBnB and it’s totally doable!

My name is Giulia, it's pronounced just like Julia only its spelt with a G! Anyone who knows me well knows I love my cat and my apartment will always be stocked with wine. I like to think of myself as a self-proclaimed makeup artist considering I spend hours on end studying from the makeup school of Youtube. I'm also a strong believer that animals are our friends, not food!
