Noah Scott, Future Legend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Western chapter.

In light of family week, I decided to sit down with my seven-year-old brother, Noah, and conduct an official interview. Here’s what we came up with:

Describe yourself in three words.

Silly. I’m also gonna say imaginative because I make up my own comics. Smart—I know algebra, my grandad taught me it.

What’s your favourite thing about school?

I’d have to say recess because it’s one of the only fun times you get.

What’s your favourite subject in school?

Gym, Math, Free Time, stuff like that.

What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at school?

Shoot Nerf guns.

What’s your favourite TV show? Why?

Tom and Jerry. I like it because it’s funny. And Wild Kratts is also my favourite, because they tell you about creatures and I like them.

What’s your favourite book?

Dogman. It’s funny.

What’s your favourite movie?

Probably the first Indiana Jones (and yes, the hat he is wearing in the picture is from the movie).

What annoys you the most?

The girl at school who bosses me around and talks too much.

Who’s your favourite person to hangout with and why?

It’ll probably be you or Grandad. You, because you don’t complain about me watching Tom and Jerry all the time (Daddy complains, so I just blast him with a Nerf gun), and Grandad, because he’s silly and a good drawer.

What makes you the happiest?

Playing with toys and stuff, like Lego. I also like making up my own comics. I’m kind of working on three: one’s called Captain Underpants and the Attack of Professor Pippy Pee-Pee Poopy Pants, the second is Captain Underpants and the Attack of Minch Monch Poopy Man, and the third is Captain Underpants and the Attack of Emperor Ming.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A Zoologist, because I like animals. I’ll be like the Wild Kratts.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about on Wild Kratts?

That worms have no eyes and no nose.

Okay, then what’s your favourite animal that you’ve learned about?

I like bunny rabbits, so the Snow-Shoed Hare.

What songs do you like to sing?

Seriously? Did you have to ask me that question? *laughs hysterically*

Oh, how I wish to be a kid again!
