In the midst of our busy day-to-day lives, we often forget to take a step back and appreciate the good things in life. We get so caught up in our busy lives consumed with work and/or school, that we forget to appreciate the little things that make our days better. Even when you had a bad day because your boss yelled at you or you received a bad grade on that exam that you studied so hard for, there is something to look forward to. We are often so focused on our next big goal that we overlook the little joys in our lives. It is important to remember to take a breather and appreciate the little pleasures in life.

1. Climbing into bed after a long day.

2. Taking a hot shower on a cold day.

3. Sleeping in freshly washed sheets.

4. Waking up and realizing you have more time to sleep.

5. When you close all of the tabs on your computer after finishing an assignment.

6. Checking things off a to-do list.

7. When you’re hungry and your food delivery arrives quicker than expected.

8. Changing into comfortable clothes.

9. Reuniting with a loved one.

10. Finding something you thought you lost.

11.The first warm, sunny day after a long winter.

12. Coming home to your pet.

13. Having a full fridge and pantry after going grocery shopping.

14. When you get a better grade than you thought.

15. The feeling after a good workout.

16. When you order something online and it finally arrives.
