Relationship Status: Single

What she looks for in a guy: I want a guy who is kind, funny and easy to talk to. I also want a guy who isn’t afraid to tell me what he’s feeling or what he wants in a relationship. I also like a guy who is spontaneous and fun.

Dream date: a nice dinner and good conversation. I’m pretty easy going when it comes to that sort of thing. I’m not going to demand a helicopter ride to a rooftop restaurant in Toronto or something outrageous like that. I like simplicity.

Celebrity crush: Too many! But a few are Ian Somerhalder, Alexander Skarsgard, Henry Cavill and Ryan Gosling.

Guilty Pleasure: Musicals. I’m in love with The Phantom of the Opera.

Pet Peeves: Poor grammar (I have a bit of a reputation for correcting people), when people leave their books open face down, when someone creases the spine of one of my soft cover books, when people fold over pages…

Superpower: Selective thought hearing. I’d like to know what some people are thinking at certain times – but then again, who wouldn’t?

Rida is a fourth year student at the University of Western Ontario and is extremely excited about the opportunity to bring Her Campus to London! She recently changed her major from Finance to English Literature after finally realizing what she wanted to do with her life. Having spent her whole life in the Middle East (Dubai and Saudi Arabia) Rida had no choice but to grow up a shopaholic! Having shifted from the desert to the great ice box that is Canada, she still finds it difficult to adjust to the freezing weather. In her spare time, Rida likes reading, watching way too many shows, stuffed crust pizza and,of course, shopping! Her aspirations are to one day live in Paris and be a writer for Vogue.
