Dear Chocolate Easter Bunny, I’m Not Sorry

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Western chapter.

Dear Chocolate Easter Bunny,

I’m so sorry.

I’m not sure what else to say…

I tried to resist you.

I tried to tell myself that I didn’t need you…

But late tonight, I ate you.

All of you.

I’m not sure what made me do it…

But I can’t take it back now…

It started with just a nibble – of your little bunny toe.

But soon after, I tore into your back…

Cracking your silky milk chocolate in my hands…

I can still see the melted smear of chocolate on my pajama top.

By the time I reached your head, I knew I had gone too far…

But by then I was a wolverine… creeping in for the kill.

Bunny, baby, please… forgive me.

I know I should have been more considerate…

And eaten your ears first…

So you couldn’t hear my joy.

I know I should have never unwraped your spring-coloured foil…

But I did.

And if I’m being completely honest…

I’d totally do it all again.

Dear Mini Eggs,

You’re next.
