This Friday, February 17 is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and we’ve compiled a list of fun acts you can do for those around you! HCWO believes that everyday is a good day to be kind, so try to keep the kindness going past Friday!

1. Pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru

2. Text a friend and tell them you’re thinking of them

3. Ask someone how their day is really going

4. Hold the door open for someone

5. Smile at a stranger

6. Buy a Starbucks card and tell the barista to use it to pay for people’s orders

7. Invite a friend for coffee—your treat

8. Leave an encouraging note for your roommate

9. Drop $5 on the ground for someone else to find

10. Leave happy post-it notes on a public bathroom mirror

11. Buy a homeless person a meal or snack

12. Tag your friends in @hcwesternontario’s RAK Instagram posts
