Stages of Visiting Your Long Distance S.O. As Told By “The Office”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Western chapter.

If you’re in a long distance relationship, you’ll know what a struggle it can be to go for long periods of time without seeing your significant other. When you finally get the chance to travel and see your S.O. it can be quite the experience. Here are the stages of visiting a significant other as told by “The Office.”

1. You plan your trip to see them

2. Your anticipation builds

3. You make the (often painful) trip

4. You finally see each other

5. And you jump back into each other’s arms

6. You spend the next few days in bliss

7. You remember that you’re made for each other

8.  You’re reminded you have to leave soon

9. You leave your S.O.

10. You realize the distance is worth it for the one you love
