‘Tis the season guys-The season to be jolly and spend time with your family and friends and most importantly be grateful. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the Christmas season; the baked goodies, the Christmas lights and decorations, the exchanging of gifts, and everything else this season holds. What I love the most about this season, is all the festivities I get to do with the people I love the most.

Make a Gingerbread House

Something that my friends and I will be doing within the next couple of weeks is making a gingerbread house. Making gingerbread houses is something I used to do when I was a little kid and I can honestly say that nothing has changed. You get to allow your artistic capabilities to show while having drinks and hanging out with your friends, listening to Christmas music, and maybe even drinking your favorite holiday drink!

Bake Cookies

Who doesn’t love cookies? Another great Christmas activity to do with friends or family is baking cookies. Whether you are into baking or not, everyone likes cookies, and baking them and giving them to your loved ones is a great way to spread the holiday cheer. You could either bake regular chocolate chip cookies or get funky with it and bake some of your favorite holiday ones.

Ugly-Sweater Party

One thing I have never done but would love to do for Christmas is an ugly sweater party. It is a great, cheap way to indulge in Christmas and everything the season holds. Ugly sweaters can be found at your local stores or even on Amazon. A way to make this more exciting is by making it a competition and have the host buy a small award for the winner.

Whether the holiday season is for you or not, the best way to get through it is to do fun activities with your family and friends. Every holiday has its own and as long as you find some of your favorite people to spend them with, you’ll get through it; especially throughout tough times like the ones we are living in now.
