Aries season has arrived! Starting from March 21 to April 19, the fiery energy these individuals encapture has only just begun! We all know a confident, passionate, courageous, person in our lives, whether it be yourself, a family member, or friend, we should all embody their vivaciousness! You’re in luck because this is the perfect playlist for anyone aspiring to take on the energy of an Aries!

1. Primadonna by Marina and The Diamonds

Released by loved alt artist, MARINA (formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds), this song takes the #1 slot of this list because of how Marina describes it as “It’s about not needing anybody when it comes to love—your raison d’être is to live for adoration.” Aries are known for their non-committal ways towards relationships and pretty much anything in general, but boy do they LOVE the attention they get from being adored by anyone they come across….

2. Killshot by Magdalena Bay

Sung and produced by the couple, Magdalena Bay, Killshot is the groovy, transcendent, alt song that makes you wanna dance your heart out in a haze of electropop and euphoria. A perfect song to dance to in a club, which tons of Aries are totally down for.

3. Dead to Me by Kali Uchis

So don’t come for me, unless I send for you. Know you’re dead to me.”

Kali Uchis is feisty and daring with her delivery of this striking song. Uchis sings to an ex to get out of her life and to stop being obsessed, because ultimately, they are dead to her — a classic thing you’ll hear an Aries say when someone they don’t like finally moves out of their life.

4. XS by Rina Sawayama

An ode to the brutality of capitalism, XS gives off the perfect F-U vibes to the patriarchy that lots of Aries individuals so desperately push against. Upcoming Japanese singer and songwriter, Rina Sawayama, explained that the 2000’s-inspired hit with guitars and violins in the background was meant to inspire the mockery of capitalism and how we should all realize the devastation it has brought onto us as a society. I think that’s a very Aries sentiment indeed.

5. Diamonds by Megan Thee Stallion & Normani

This Megan Thee Stallion infused pop rap song featuring Normani on the soundtrack on the women-lead film, Birds of Prey, gives the perfect mix of fire and classiness! Inspired and sampled with Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend by Marilyn Monroe, the song exudes the love for material goods while striving to be confident at the same time, a perfect ode to the embodiment of an Aries!

6. Need to Know by Doja Cat

This bold, fun, upbeat song dubbed by budding superstar and triple threat, Doja Cat, is a sure hit for these sexy individuals! The lyrics express her openly singing about her wants and needs sexually throughout the song; this one has the perfect essence of the sexual and enigmatic energy Aries give off with their directness and desire for wanting more, in and out of the bedroom.

7. I Did Something Bad by Taylor Swift

“They say I did something bad then why’s it feel so good?”

A superb line of thinking If you’ve ever known an Aries: they are known for going against the grain and wanting more since they are lead more by their reactions, even if it gets them in trouble. It is no surprise that this song is sung by a fellow Sagittarius (another fire sign!), Miss Taylor Swift — who also has quite a few other fire energy songs under her belt as well.

8. Kiwi by Harry Styles

Talented powerhouse from Great Britain who successfully transferred from boyband member to solo artist, Harry Styles has written many odes to the women in his love life. Kiwi captivates listeners by the first lyrics by singing “hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect. And all the boys, they were saying they were into it, such a pretty face, on a pretty neck. She’s driving me crazy, but I’m into it, I’m kind of into it.” With all the passion and fire an Aries can hold, it can make someone crazy trying to figure them out. How can anyone not be enticed by this fire sign?

9. Hotter than Hell by Dua Lipa

From another British native, Dua has been known for her breakup anthems such as New Rules and Don’t Start Now. Hotter Than Hell takes a more incandescent turn just like what the song’s title says, with Dua singing about how her lover cannot never get enough of her because she is “hotter than hell,” a very true sentiment for the fire sign.

10. Sue Me by Sabrina Carpenter

A badass bop that came out in 2018, Sabrina Carpenter shows off the confidence she has within herself and the power she holds after leaving a relationship. With her powerful vocals and up-tempo beat, this is definitely a song Aries can get behind as it speaks to the true essence of who they are: confident and empowering!

11. Whiplash by Alexa Capelli

A new upcoming artist, Alexa sings about her impatience of wanting to get into a relationship but not anything too serious. Hmm, a sign that sounds impatient, wants love but never wanting anything too restricting… Sounds familiar for an Aries, don’t you think?

12. God sent me as karma as Emlyn

God sent me as karma, to take you for a ride, you’ll think you’ve reached nirvana, I’ll drive you out of your mind.”

Sigh, Aries have so many good qualities — but once you cross them, you can be sure they’ll make you regret it.

13. Plot Line by Emlyn

Another song by the upcoming Indie artist, she sings to an ex for not being her happy ever after, stating “I’m the main character, clear out the room, I don’t have space for your ego to bruise.” Even after breakups, Aries individuals prove they are still that IT person that will never be defined by the hurt they have been through!

14. Therefore I am by Billie Eilish

Never have I ever listened to a song with such a message of “I don’t care what you think about me!”

Even with the title, which is an ode to French Philosopher Rene Descartes aphorism “Cogito, ergo sum,” which means “I think, therefore I am.” It holds no doubt how much this song emphasizes Billie’s need of not caring what others think of her after her rise to fame, a very Aries message that I’m sure all Aries can relate to!
