Some people make such a difference in your life that it becomes impossible to imagine getting through certain seasons without them. They are the people who stand beside you through the highs and the lows, celebrate every success like it is their own, and help carry you through the moments that feel heavy. This year, more than ever, I’ve realized how lucky I am to have two people like that in my life: my dad and my sister.
This year has come with so many different emotions—stress, growth, change, excitement, uncertainty, and moments where I really had to push myself. Through all of it, the two of you have been my biggest supporters, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without your love and encouragement.
To My Dad
Thank you for being the steady presence I can always count on. Thank you for believing in me, even when I doubted myself. You always seem to know exactly what to say when I need reassurance, perspective, or motivation. Your support has never been loud or flashy—it has been constant, dependable, and genuine, which means even more.
You have taught me so much this year and throughout my life: how to work hard, how to stay strong during stressful moments, and how to keep moving forward no matter what obstacles come up. Whenever things felt overwhelming, you reminded me that I was capable. Whenever I questioned myself, you reminded me to trust who I am. That kind of support means more than I can properly put into words.
Thank you for every conversation, every piece of advice, every check-in, and every time you showed up for me in ways both big and small. So much of my strength comes from knowing I have you in my corner.
To My Sister, Abigail
Abigail, thank you for being one of the brightest and most comforting parts of my life. Thank you for being more than just a sister—you are truly one of my best friends, one of my biggest supporters, and someone I know I can always count on no matter what.
This year, you have been there for me through every kind of moment. You’ve listened when I needed to vent, reassured me when I felt overwhelmed, and made me laugh when I needed it most. You have this natural ability to make stressful situations feel smaller and happy moments feel even bigger.
Thank you for always cheering me on, even in the little things that others might overlook. Thank you for celebrating my accomplishments, encouraging me when I felt unsure, and reminding me of my worth when I needed to hear it. Sometimes, just knowing you believe in me has been enough to help me keep going.
You bring so much joy, warmth, and fun into my life. Whether we are laughing over something silly, talking about life, or just spending time together, those moments mean more to me than you probably realize. The bond we share is something I deeply cherish.
Thank you for being someone I can talk to honestly, someone who understands me, and someone who always wants the best for me. Having a sister who is supportive, caring, and genuine is such a gift, and I never take it for granted.
You make life better simply by being in it. You make hard days easier, good days sweeter, and everyday moments more special. I am so proud to call you my sister, and I hope you always know how appreciated and loved you are.
Thank You Both
This year has shown me how important it is to have people who truly care about you and want to see you succeed. Not everyone is lucky enough to have that kind of love, and I know how fortunate I am that I have it in both of you.
So this is simply to say thank you.
Thank you for the encouragement.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for standing by me.
Thank you for loving me through every version of myself this year.
Dad and Abigail, you have made this year brighter, easier, and more meaningful in ways you may never fully realize. I am endlessly grateful for both of you, and I love you more than words can say.
