This is not the first poem I have ever written, but it is the first one I share with the world. I think a lot of people need to hear something like this because it’s important. I think that we get to be so busy so often that we forget to stop and take a moment to just breathe. It can be hard to remember that we are need a moment to just take things in. And by things, I mean sights, smells, sounds, etc.
Open your eyes
Blink

You did it
You survived another day
Now survive this one too
