I love fun facts, why? Because they’re random tidbits of information that you can pull from the recesses of your brain. They can help spice up any conversation, or they must just annoy your friends! Either way, here’s a few to help you spice up your conversations.

  1. “A penguin’s striking coloring is a matter of camouflage; from above, its black back blends into the murky depths of the ocean. From below, its white belly is hidden against the bright surface.”

Now if only we had a cool camouflage mechanism to avoid paying bills!

  1. “The footprints on the moon will be there for 100 million years. The Moon has no atmosphere, which means there is no wind to erode the surface and no water to wash the footprints away. This means the footprints of the Apollo astronauts, along with spacecraft prints, rover-prints and discarded material, will be there for millions of years.”

Talk about leaving your mark!

  1. “The average person has 67 different species of bacteria in their belly button.”

More interesting facts about the human body can be found here.

  1. “When you blush, the inside of your stomach does too.”

That explains the butterfly feeling in your stomach when your crush talks to you!

  1. “In the Philippines, there’s an island that’s within a lake, on an island that’s within a lake, on an island.”

In case you really need to get away from people.

And those are some fun facts to annoy your friends with! Comment which one is your favorite, or drop one in the comments that isn’t on here, but you’d like to share! gst

I almost quit HerCampus cause I couldn't think of a bio.
