De-stress with dessert!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wellesley chapter.

It is that time of year again, when we all get stressed out over last midterms and the imminent final exams and papers. Of course, there are many ways to battle this stress, but none as are delicious as this. Set aside a few hours one evening when you won’t study (or at least do less studying), gather up some friends, and satisfy your sweet tooth with dessert.

There may be no better way to relax and after all, you deserve a break and a treat! Here are some suggestions for excellent places to try:

Bread & Chocolate Bakery Café
4 Hartford St.
Newton Highlands
http://www.breadnchocolate.com/
Bakeries are a great place to go in search of sweet things. Bread & Chocolate Bakery Café won’t disappoint. They have cupcakes, éclairs, cookies galore, cheesecake, brownies and more. Plus, you won’t be able to use the excuse that it takes too long to get into Boston because this store is in Newton Highlands.

Max Brenner
745 Boylston
Boston
http://www.maxbrenner.com
Just walk into this restaurant and you’ll be immersed in the pleasant aroma of chocolate. How can you go wrong? Indulge yourself with toffee hot chocolate, chocolate pizza, s’mores, chocolate cake or more. Not looking for the “traditional” dessert? Have a dessert waffle or dessert crepes instead! Make sure to make reservations before because this place is always busy.

Finale
30 Dunster Street
Cambridge
http://www.finaledesserts.com
A Harvard Square classic, Finale is a fantastic place to eat dessert(s) with friends. How about cheesecake, crème brulee, pudding or a hot fudge sundae? Can’t decide? Try the Dessert Sampler and get a taste of everything.
