A List of My Favourite Things for Summer 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Waterloo chapter.

After a busy school year, it’s always nice to sit back and catch up on reading, listen to music, and just have fun. The summer is the best time to do this. So here are a few of my favourite things for Summer 2018.

She Felt Like Feeling Nothing by r.h. Sin Most recently I’ve begun to really enjoy reading poetry. r.h. Sin is an amazing poet who really attempts to connect with his fan base. She Felt Like Feeling Nothing is his latest release and it promises to be just as amazing as the rest.

“Nice For What” by Drake This song is very catchy and upbeat. The music video is quite empowering, showing women in a variety of professions. The lyrics promote a more fun and carefree lifestyle, perfect for a summer playlist.

Famous in Love, Season 2

The summer is often a slower time in the world of television, but this summer brings the return of the drama Famous in Love. It’s a great show for a night in and even better for binging if you haven’t already seen the first season.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again

Coming to theatres July 20th, the sequel to Mamma Mia has a great vibe for the season. Follow the cast as they explore the past and as history seems to repeat itself.

The summer doesn’t last long, so why not get out there, try some new things, and enjoy it! It’ll be time for school again before you know it.
