A Letter to my Fellow Students Still in Continuous Round

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Waterloo chapter.

Dear friend,

I know how much you feel like life sucks right now, and how much stress you’re probably going through, having to balance both co-op and school, but hang in there. Sometimes life can feel like complete hell; unfortunately, it’s one of the realities of being an adult. Sometimes you don’t just go through dark days, you’ll go through dark days, dark months, or maybe even dark years. However, it’s important to know that at the end of the dark tunnel, you will be able to see light eventually.

Maybe it’s just me, but from talking to friends, Winter 2019 has been a pretty bad term. Having three night classes a week and struggling to find a decent co-op for the spring term has made this term seem rather tedious. Although we still need to give the rest of this school term our best to get those much-needed good grades, remember to take care of yourself. Don’t get too discouraged if life doesn’t turn out the way you expected it to be, and like Dory says in Finding Nemo – “just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, that’s what we do just swim.”

With all that said, I wish you all the best if you’re still in continuous round. Keep working hard until the end.

Good luck!
