Fashion for Change Theme Release Party Recap

On Friday, January 27th, Fashion for Change hosted their annual theme release party at the Bombshelter pub. Everyone was dressed in semi-formal attire for a night full of dancing, yummy appies, and a ton of fun.

Now, you might be asking yourself, what exactly is Fashion for Change?

Well, Fashion for Change is a organization that has been running for 7 consecutive years on campus. Through their annual shows, they’ve raised over $80,000. This money is donated to Free the Children and used towards their WE Village in Moyamba, Sierra Leone. In particular this money focuses towards providing clean drinking water and the education pillar.

The highlight of the night was the theme release. his year, Fashion for Change is doing “Through the decades” with choreographed pieces highlighting decades over the last century, such as the Roaring 20’s, Burlesque, and even a futuristic “2020 – Searching for Clarity.”
