Fall is arguably the best quarter at UW: you’re rejuvenated from summer break, haven’t yet developed SAD from the near-omnipresent rainclouds, and can enjoy the Quad foliage getting more and more picturesque each day. Before winter quarter (and the gloom it brings with it) arrives on campus, here are a few fun bucket list items to make the most of this autumn.
- Have a pumpkin spice latte
- Go apple picking
- Cuddle in blankets
- Have a movie/Netflix marathon
- Drink apple cider
- Use a whole lip balm tube (bonus points if it’s an autumnal flavor)
- Jump in the leaves
- Go stargazing
- Run in the rain
- Have an autumnal photo shoot
- Take a bath (bonus points for bath bombs or bubbles!)
- Go to a pumpkin patch
- Attend a Halloween party
- Go to a teahouse
- Go to a cafe
- Attend a football game (bonus points for tailgating!)
- Eat pie! (bonus points for making it!)
- Gorge yourself on Halloween candy
- Have a bonfire
- Decorate for Fall
- Go to Fremont for the Sunday market!
- Go for a hike
- Walk around Green Lake
- Watch a scary movie (bonus points if it’s on Halloween or with friends)

- Wear a Halloween costume
- Drink hot chocolate
- Eat roasted chestnuts
- Do an Autumnal DIY
- Cook/eat pumpkin (seeds, pie, etc.)
- Wear plaid
- Wear red
- Spend a day with the people you love!
