Winter weather can be harsh on our skin. Wintertime is approaching and it’s time to start incorporating products into our skincare routines that will protect our faces from brisk winds and freezing weather. The Sephora Holiday Savings Event is finally here, which means that it’s the perfect time to stock up on some winter skin essentials! From a skincare junkie, here are a few of my favorite cold-weather skincare products that I’ll be picking up during the sale:

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Seriously the best lip sleeping mask I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried at least fifteen to twenty different lip balms/masks. . . it cures my chapped lips overnight! The lip mask comes in seven yummy flavors, but the vanilla is my favorite. Korean skincare for the win!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5

Hyaluronic acid is famous for providing moisture to the skin as well as smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. This serum is super light and the perfect addition to any everyday moisturizer. I have been a fan of The Ordinary products for years, but they’ve recently gained massive popularity on Tik Tok for their super low prices and effective active ingredients. Unfortunately, this means that they sell out fast, so get your hands on them while you can!

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Especially during the winter, my under-eyes and eyelids tend to get dry and irritated. This eye cream is super hydrating and cancels out any redness around my eyes due to the slight green tint. Plus, for us girls in our twenties, it’s never too early to start incorporating eye creams into our skincare routines to prevent future signs of aging!

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

This face mask saved my dry, cracked skin during my first winter in Seattle. A cult favorite, this hydrating mask soothes skin and fights against dryness, dullness, and uneven texture. It’s also super versatile and can either be used as a ten-minute mask, overnight treatment, or as a thicker moisturizer.

Caudalie Grape Water

During the daytime, my skin can get dry under my makeup. It’s hard to re-moisturize when I’m out and not at home, so I spray this hydrating mist over my face when I need a quick boost of moisture. There are a lot of natural face mists on the market, but this is my favorite due to the super satisfying aerosol sprayer. I keep the mini version in my backpack or car, and I use the larger version in the mornings to set my makeup.

This 10-20% off sale only comes around four times a year, so go nuts, and order all of your makeup and skincare essentials. The sale starts on 10/30 for Rouge members, 11/3 for VIB members, 11/5 for Insiders, and runs until 11/9. Happy shopping!
