We may not be able to be out and about, but that doesn’t mean we can’t treat ourselves every now and then. So, I have rounded up some awesome women-owned brands that I think you’ll love just as much as I do. There’s also nothing better than supporting your fellow women out there.
- Birdies – I can’t seem to separate my love for the Bay Area, because this company is based in San Francisco and is turning out some great shoes. They offer an array of loafer-style shoes that are beyond comfortable! Dress-up your outfit with a fancy velvet pair or go casual chic in their taupe leather option. Prices range from $80 to $145 which might be a little steep for some, but trust me they will not disappoint.
- Dagne and Dover – Backpacks, fanny packs, laptop bags and more! My favorite product from Dagne and Dover is their Dakota backpack; it fits just about all my essentials and laptop. The fabric is water resistant, washable and it’s a huge step-up from my high school Jansport backpack days. Not only is this company owned by three women, they also strive to keep their brand eco-friendly.
- The Sill – For all your crazy plant lady goals. This shop offers so many beautiful plants, succulents, orchids, monsteras and fun moss balls to name a few. They also offer very simple and chic planters in various colors, or you may opt out of planter to save a few dollars. All plants are shipped directly to you or you may stop at one of their storefronts located in New York City, San Francisco or Los Angeles. Not a plant expert? No worries, their site offers lots of tips and how to guides for how to help keep your plants thriving.
- BITE Beauty – Here’s what you need to know, AGAVE LIP BALM. This is one of my favorite products – it’s so simple and leaves my lips feeling hydrated. If you want to up your lip balm game, I suggest opting-in for the Rose Gold Pearl option. The product adds some color to your lips, smells lovely and even tastes good (don’t actually eat it, but you get my point)! Aside from their various lip products, you can also try their newly released foundations and primers. Last but not least, one of the greatest things about BITE is that you could go into one of their Lip Lab locations and create your very own shade of lipstick paired with a scent of your choosing.
