You may be asking yourself, why should I apply to Her Campus? To begin with, Her Campus is an internationally recognized online magazine with 11,000+ contributors from more than 300 campuses located in 11 countries. Not only is it an impressive resume builder, but it is a creative outlet for any type of major.

Are you a writer looking for a platform? Interested in publishing content on various social media platforms? Do you want to plan events in partnerships with your favorite brands? The sky is the limit on what you can do for Her Campus as you create content that you’re interested in. There’s more to the club than just writing, as it requires aspiring photographers/videographers to produce videos, marketing from social media influencers, as well as organized individuals to keep the agenda in check. Whether you are a finance or art history major, there is a wide variety to explore exactly what you are passionate about.

As this year is a little bit different due to the pandemic, college can be an especially scary time, whether you are a freshman venturing out into the unknown, or a senior trying to plan for your career. Well, Her Campus is the perfect way to get involved. Our club creates a group of close-knit women who genuinely care about one another and the success of our content. Showing employers that you are involved and care about your community should impress them with all the hard work you do within the club. Not only that, but as a very well known brand, companies recognize the professionalism and dedication it takes to be a part of our team.

Regardless of whatever team you are on, being a part of our organization provides so many ways to sharpen skills such as communication, organization, teamwork, writing, and much more!

As a member of HCUW your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the nationwide brand by adhering to the national level standard requirements
  • Attending and participating in at least 2 on-campus events (once more club members are comfortable returning to in-person classes)
  • Being an active member of Her Campus UW and attending mandatory (virtual) meetings

Please take your time to read through each application and each position’s responsibilities! You are more than welcome to apply to more than one team. We also welcome all students from the University of Washington’s Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma Campuses!

Priority applications are due by Oct. 8 at 11:59 p.m. We will be accepting applications afterward on a rolling basis. Any questions, please email hercampusuw@gmail.com.
