Good evening, collegiettes!

As you may have noticed, there’s tons of crows hangin’ around campus lately. As I was walking to my car after work today, there were about 100 swooping over me! If you are not trying to get pooped on, this is a difficult situation. BUT if you know a bit more about crows, this is closer to spooky! Did you know that these little birdies are ridiculously smart and social?!
Here is a documentary available in full on PBS.com about crows you may enjoy! The experiment mentioned in the film was, as you’ll see, conducted on campus by Professor John Marzluff, crow expert and Washington prof.
