Friday, March 8, was International Women’s Day and the media culminated a plethora of informative, empowering, and interesting posts, articles, videos, and conversations. International Women’s Day began in the early 1900’s and has been celebrated annually since. This holiday not only recognizes the power of women but encourages worldwide conversation on women’s rights, women’s accomplishments, and how to improve the world in general.

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #BalanceforBetter with the aim of creating a better world through equality that is balanced for everyone.
