With midterms season upon us I know we are all super stressed and in need of some relaxation!
It’s super important to look out of yourself and take some much needed breaks from all of your hard work. Here are some tips on how I stay relaxed and carve out some me-time in my daily schedule.
-
I don’t set an alarm for Sunday morning and let my body catch up on some must needed sleep. Sleep is not only super important for your health, but also so enjoyable and refreshing.

The AC offers free yoga classes that I highly recommend you go to. I am not a yogi by any means (can’t even touch my toes without bending my knees) and I still think these classes are so fun. They’re super relaxing and not physically strenuous. I recommend Monica’s class on Monday nights, or any restorative yoga class.

Arguably the AC’s best kept secret are the massage chairs in the “Zen Den”. You can reserve them online or at the desk on the floor with all the machines. I love to go in here post exam and just watch Netflix while I get massaged. Best part is that it’s free!
-
The AC’s second best kept secret is the Sauna in the basement. I love coming here to sweat out all the ~toxins~ of life and just to generally stay warm and toasty during these cold winter months. It’s a little bit tricky to find in the basement locker rooms, but it is well worth the hunt.

The last thing I do to relax is to just unplug and hang out with my friends without any devices. A good laugh really goes a long way when you’re stressed and who else better to hang out with than the people who understand your sense of humor the best.
