The Final Countdown

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

Finals season is upon us. Classes may be finally over, but finals are not. In light of finals week ahead of us, here is some advice for fun and for studying.

For studying:

  1. Try to study, even if it’s just a little bit.
  2. Start early; pacing is always nicer than rushing.
  3. Study with friends! When there are more people, there is a greater likelihood that someone will catch things you might not alone. There is also a better chance that someone knows the answer to your question. Plus, it’s fun!
  4. If your professors offer a cheat sheet, use it! Cheat sheets are a gift.
  5. Do your best. You got this!

For fun:

  1. Participate in the free events WashU hosts for reading week. From free fountain soda all week to free ice cream, make sure to get some snacks.
  2. Go on an excursion off-campus with friends now that no one has classes.

Finals can be stressful but make sure to balance them with fun and relaxation. The school year is almost over! We got this!
