Tae-Ho Cho, 2011

Hometown:I was born in Paris, France. But my nationality is Korean.

Major:Finance

Relationship Status:Single

Campus Involvement:  KISS, DSP, SOK choreographer, EADS consultant

Hobbies and Interests:Music, movies, dancing (mostly popping/hiphop), weight lifting, basketball, eating (I’m quite passionate about my eating hobby)

Your ideal woman:Let’s see…Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Kate Beckinsale? Haha, honestly I think the idea of an ideal woman is hard to conceptualize. It’s kind of unrealistic. I don’t have one specific ideal type for women. It’s more like if I like her, then I like her.

How do you feel when people say you look like Rain?

The first time this happened was when I was in high school and my response was “Who the heck is Rain?” I thought “Rain” was a stupid name for a singer. When Rain was in his prime, it felt good to hear I looked like him, since he was supposed to be “hot stuff.” Now it’s just like “Is that a compliment? In that case, thanks.” Honestly, I wish I could dance like him? But I’m not sure about his looks…(don’t hate Rain fans)

What’s your favorite college memory thus far?

BBQ with the bros. KISS retreat. Trip to Cancun.

Best food off-campus? on-campus?

Off-campus: Steak and Shake, Five guys…all that good stuff!
On-campus: T-Rex, it’s a type of quesadilla they used to make at the old BD, with basically all the left over ingredients (fries, mozzarella sticks, marinara etc.). Otherwise, half and half.

You live in China, went to school in Latin America, are from Korea, yet go to school in the US. Where’s your favorite place in the world, and why?

There is no one favorite place. I constantly try to make the place I’m currently at, my favorite place. I think the different countries I was fortunate enough to encounter are just too different. Each have their pros and cons. I’m gonna say something really cheesy now, but it’s the people that I’m with that makes the difference not really the place itself.

Before any WashU student graduates, they must ______.

Go to emperor’s palace!
Try rolling down the hill at Forest Park, the one in front of the Art Museum.

Is there anything you wish you could be better at or something you’ve never tried, but want to?

I want to try skydiving. I would also like to learn how to surf.

What were your childhood dreams?

To fly

What’s your biggest fear? Regret?

My biggest fear is the idea of finding out when it’s too late that I have made the wrong decision. I hope this never happens though.

If you could go back in time to freshman Tae-Ho, what would you tell him?

Don’t waste time. Time flies faster than you think.

What’s your favorite movie?

Boondock Saints.
Matrix.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Probably drinking heavily 6 days in a row on a random week of school. Don’t worry, it was purely out of boredom and impulse, I was not depressed.

What do you want to be remembered for at WashU?

As long as I’m remembered by my friends for having made a positive difference/impact, it would be awesome.

When did you start dancing? Will we be seeing you dance again?

I started my senior year of high school. Yes, come watch SOK in April! Free food+ Great shows= Awesomeness.
