The University City Farmers Market is in a super convenient location, located just behind the Delmar Loop. I recommend going in one of the warmer months, as there tend to be more booths open in the spring, summer, and early fall. This market is on the small side, but vendors sell a range of fruits and veggies, eggs, meat, coffee, and soap.

The Soulard Farmers Market is probably my favorite. With a great view of the iconic arch, the market has a parking lot located right across the street. I tend to go on Saturday mornings, but it’s open Wednesday through Saturday. The market offers a huge variety of affordable produce, as well as bread, pastries, coffee, chocolate, candy, and gifts. There are also booths that sell hot food such as burgers and pie. Comprising a few long, covered walkways, the adorably decorated market has Pike Place vibes.

The third and final market that I recommend is not to be missed! The Tower Grove Saturday Farmers Market is officially open for the season as of April 10th. The market hosts many local vendors that sell their foods and products, including delicious breakfast sandwiches. Located in the beautiful Tower Grove Park, the market is only a short drive from WashU’s campus.
