Mardi Gras is coming up, and St. Louis holds the (second) largest celebration in the United States.

That being said, the city holds a bunch of events to celebrate, either in the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras, or Mardi Gras weekend itself!  Here are a few that you should be sure to hit, dressed up in Mardi Gras apparel (purple, gold, and green):

1) Mardi Gras Soulard

Every year, 2 million people pour into this historic french district to celebrate! It is a free event for all ages. Here, you will find the Bud Light Grand Parade, the biggest Mardi Gras parade outside of Big Easy!
