Fabletics Leggings- An Affordable Version of Lulu Lemon
I love leggings. A lot. So much that from the ages of about 7 to 12 I refused to wear anything but leggings because they were that comfortable. And after moving to WashU this past summer and dealing with some stressful adjustments to college, I got really into yoga. I’ve also recently got into the concept of athleisure since it’s January and I really cannot be bothered to wear jeans anymore. So over winter break, I decided that it was time to trade in my dependable, yet not great quality, Target leggings for some nicer pairs. I encountered the wonderful athletic company Fabletics a few years ago but since I have a certain avoidance of online shopping and buying clothes that won’t fit me, I had never taken the leap with Fabletics. However, this past weekend I was wandering in the Saint Louis Galleria when I passed the Fabletics store and was drawn in by their 30 percent sale. I soon discovered this is a store that will now be providing all of my workout and athleisure gear for the rest of my life.
This store is significantly better than Lulu Lemon. Although this is a controversial opinion, especially at WashU, I do think many of you would agree with me once you give this store a try. The leggings are good quality, and they aren’t $100 each like Lulu. Not only are they good quality, they are so comfortable! And comfortable leggings are a must because as the semester progresses I know I will go from jeans to really only wearing leggings or sweatpants. So my leggings need to not only get through workouts and yoga classes, but also my lectures, trips to BD and weekends binge-watching ‘You’ while doing laundry.
Another reason why this store is great is the sales. I swear this company almost always has some sort of deal when you surf their website and when I bought my new leggings in the store I was not only given 30% off but also a pair of free leggings! So I’m very sure you won’t be spending hundreds of dollars on some good quality leggings – just make sure you look for the good deals. But for the girls who are not so into leggings, fear not, the store also has plenty of cute sports bras and tank tops!
Although Lulu Lemon leggings are so cute and there’s a special place in my heart for cheap Target leggings, Fabletics seems to have a great balance between cuteness, good quality, and good price! The website is also always fun to browse since the company brings in new patterns and themes, sometimes changing with the seasons. So, if you are looking for a store that has some good quality workout gear but won’t empty your bank account – search no further!
